Kali, Poem

In the heart of the midnight’s hue,
Where shadows dance and whispers brew, A fierce goddess stands amid the fray, Her name revered, in night and day.

Kali, the dark, the timeless force,
Embodiment of cosmic course,
With eyes that blaze like stars alight,
She guards the realms in velvet night.

Her locks unbound, a river flows,
Through fields of darkness, where it grows, Upon her brow, the crescent shines, A symbol of divine designs.

In her hands, destruction’s grace,
To cleanse, renew, and clear the space,
Her garland, skulls of long-past foes,
A testament to all she knows.

Yet in her wild and fearsome dance,
There lies a hope, a second chance,
For from her chaos, order springs,
And in her silence, the cosmos sings.

O Kali, mother fierce and deep,
Through realms of wake, and worlds of sleep, Bestow your wisdom, guide our sight, Through darkest paths, to brilliant light.
